Safecycle
Saferoads Safecycle Lane Delineator is specially designed to delineate bike lanes with a physical longitudinal hump.
Saferoads was asked by City Councils to develop a product that would clearly delineate a cycle lane. The brief was as follows, it must be easily traversed by cyclists at speed in case they needed to veer out of the bike lane to avoid an incident. The product needed to be at the same time high enough so motorists would hear and feel that when they transgress into the cycle lane so they would make an immediate correction.
Safecycle was designed to that it can be easily traversed by cyclists, pedestrians, and wheelchairs whilst alerting motorists if they inadvertently start to wander into the cycle lane. Installations of Safecycle would start to educate drivers to be aware to check for cyclists when requiring to move across a cycle lane.

Fixings
Road Safety and Rentals choses to use the most effective fastening system for the best results and longest lasting products. A 90mm Mungo Plug is inserted into a drilled 14mm hole along with a 2-3 pumps of two part epoxy. A 120mm stainless steel Coach Screw is screwed into the plug for instant results (installation istructions for each product can be found on the Product Literature Tab). We do offer alternatives to our superior fixing system such as Dyna Bolts for concrete installations or Coach Bolts for a spike in asphalt applications or can supply without faseners for you to source your own.
